Zahra Sheriteh will take a thorough history and examine the jaws, teeth and provide you with a provisional diagnosis and treatment plan. Zahra is particularly experienced in looking after patients who are worried or anxious about treatment and is here to alleviate any worries and answer any questions. Patient comfort is key.
At this appointment, Zahra will gently take moulds of the teeth and photographs which are used to provide a detailed treatment plan. X Rays will also be arranged at the local hospital if required.
At this appointment Zahra will carefully go through the treatment options with you, discussing the benefits of each. She will answer any questions and address any concerns that you have so that you are completely comfortable and clear about the final treatment plan.
Orthodontic treatment will be started. Usually you will require appointments every 4-8 weeks for the brace to be adjusted, depending on the type of brace treatment being carried out.
Once the brace treatment is completed, you will be fitted with retainers to hold the teeth in their new positions.
